Research Cell strives towards the Vision and Mission of our institute. We at NSS have been undertaking consistent efforts to align our Research and Development activities to achieve technological competence and professional standards. The faculty and students undertake research projects in thriving areas of Commerce and Management. The research work under the banner of NSS Research Cell work for the benefit of teaching and student's fraternity.

• To create and promote a culture of research among the staff and students
• To organize various workshops/ seminars/ trainings related to promotion of research
• To enhance the research output of the institute by research paper publication in referred journals and reputed conferences
• To publish research material in appropriate media and to make available such published information to the end users.
• To keep track and record of publications made by the faculty
• To encourage and motivate students to take part in research related activities like "Avishkar"

• Maximum faculty awarded with Ph.D./ M.Phil and other pursuing Ph.D.
• Faculty members published many research papers in reputed peer review journals / UGC care listed journals with high impact factor.
• Faculty invited as resource person for various conferences/ workshop/ faculty development progromme.
• Faculty members presented many research papers at various national/ international conferences, some of them awarded best research paper.
• Students & faculty members are actively participated at "Avishkar" research convention organized by Department of student welfare - University of Mumbai in association with Government of Maharashtra.
• Faculty undertaken and successfully completed the Minor Research Project of University of Mumbai. Many students also assist the faculty members for their minor research project.
• Faculty members attended various workshops/ national/ international conferences/ webinars.
• Faculty members are also worked as Chief Editor, Editor, member of advisory committee, peer review committee etc.
