The department of Mathematics & Statistics was established in the year 1988. Since the inception, it has been keenly aware of its role in imparting quality education in mathematics and statistics. The subject is taught at F.Y. B.Com. Level. The teaching is done through lectures and tutorials. Various pedagogical tools and mathematical softwares like Google classroom, Slido, Quizizz and MATLAB are used by the faculty members to enhance the teaching learning process.

It aims to develop and inculcate the mathematical attitude and mathematical discipline such ; logical, critical and independant thinking, reasoning, analytical skills, problem solving and decision making.
