Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha’s college of Commerce and Economics was established in the year 1988 by our visionary founders late. Shri. Rajabhau Mirashi and his better half Smt. Shantabai Mirashi. A small seed sown by these great philanthropists in the field of Education has now grown into a big tree. The college is now providing education to more than 1000 students pursuing their Under Graduate and Post Graduate degree in Commerce. The reign is shouldered by our beloved Chairman Dr. Jaydeep Mirashi and supported by Dr. Pratibha Mirashi as the Superintendent of Sanstha.

We at NSS believe in providing our students a holistic learning experience for life. We not only take care of their academic growth but also overall development of their personality through co- curricular and extra-curricular activities.

There are myriad of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities organised by the college in which students participate and exhibit their talents. Our students participated and also won laurels to our college at various intra and intercollegiate competitions like Maharashtrotsav, Youth Festival, Sphurti, etc.

We also believe that it is necessary to blend education with good character amongst the youth to build a better society. Therefore the college organises various activities to make students socially and morally responsible.

Our Teachers too are highly motivated and encouraged to enhance their academic qualifications. Most of the teachers are actively involved in publishing and presenting research papers. Some are pursuing Ph.D and are regularly involved in updating their knowledge by attending seminars and workshops.

All the teaching & non teaching staff members work in different committees and their enthusiastic contribution and co-operation have made the college atmosphere vibrant. I take this opportunity to pay a tribute to Late Shri. Rajabhau Mirashi & Smt. Shantabai Mirashi and extend my sincere gratitude to Chairman Dr. Jaydeep Mirashi, Mr. C. N. Kashalkar, General Secretary & Dr. Pratibha Mirashi and all the members of the management for their constant support and encouragement in functioning of the college.

I am sure the college will try to provide all the academic, curricular and extracurricular facilities to the students & help their dream comes true.
